Welcome letter from Department Chair

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the ECE Graduate Research/Capstone Design Conference 2013 website.  The GRC/CDC is an annual departmental event to showcase both graduate and undergraduate research taking place in our department.  On this special day our brilliant students will get the opportunity to demonstrate their research and exchange  information among other research groups. Students are excited to be able to captivate the audience with their talents.

Our department goals of the GRC/CDC are:

• To improve students’ communication skills – this is essential for dissemination of research  - you will gain experience in presenting research in a conference setting and to a large audience.
• Expose students to broad research topics – important in today’s multi- and inter-disciplinary research – you will learn about ongoing research also being conducted in the department by your fellow students

• Get to know your colleagues, cohorts and alumni and provide a networking opportunity

I encourage the participation of all of our graduate students.  Come, enjoy, and discover!
